    Services / Enterprise Software

Enterprise software that matches how your business actually runs.

Custom internal systems, back-office platforms, and line-of-business applications engineered to your operating model — not squeezed into someone else's package.

Most enterprise software estates are a patchwork of packages that solve 70% of the job, plus spreadsheets and shadow databases that quietly cover the remaining 30%. When those spreadsheets become load-bearing, the business slows down. Digitalised Solutions designs and builds enterprise applications that absorb that hidden work, replace the spreadsheets, and give operational leaders a single, trustworthy view of the process.

    The problem we hear

Packaged software promises everything and delivers most of it. The gap is where operations lose control.

    Off-the-shelf almost fits

You've configured, extended, and integrated the platform as far as it will stretch, and the last 20% still lives in Excel, email, and tribal knowledge.

    Change requests take months

A workflow tweak turns into a vendor ticket, a partner scoping call, and a quote. Operational teams stop asking and start working around the system.

    The data is trapped

Reporting depends on exports, screen-scrapes, or an integration platform that no one wants to touch. Leadership can't trust the numbers.

    How we approach it

    01

    Understand the operation

We shadow the process, interview the people who run it, and map the current tools honestly — including the spreadsheets nobody wants to admit exist.

    02

    Architect the target

A written architecture decision record: what we build, what we keep, what we retire, and how the pieces integrate. Signed off by your team before any code is written.

    03

    Build in vertical slices

Two-week increments, each demonstrable on real data. The first release solves a real problem for real users, not a technical spike.

    04

    Measure and hand over

Operational metrics tracked from day one. Documentation, training, and a support model your internal team can actually run.

    What good looks like

A single, trusted system for a process that previously spanned three tools and a spreadsheet.

Change requests that ship in days, not quarters, because the codebase is yours and readable.

Reporting that leadership actually references in decisions, sourced from operational data with no manual reconciliation.

Documented architecture and a support model your internal team can extend without us.

    What we typically build

    Operational platforms

End-to-end systems for scheduling, dispatch, case management, or claims handling — the core of how the business runs.

    Back-office tooling

Finance, HR, and admin apps that replace spreadsheet-driven processes with auditable workflow.

    Line-of-business apps

Vertical-specific systems where no packaged product fits well enough to justify the compromise.

    Package replacement

Structured migrations off legacy or over-priced platforms, with data continuity and phased rollout.

    Admin & configuration UIs

Internal tools that let your team change business rules without waiting for a developer.

    Audit and compliance layers

Full audit trail, role-based access, and evidence exports built in from day one, not bolted on for the audit.

    Anonymised engagements

    Care operations replatform

A UK care provider was running scheduling in one system, compliance in another, and payroll extract in a spreadsheet. We rebuilt the operational core as a single web application with role-based access, DBS and right-to-work checkpoints, and clean payroll export — freeing the operations team from three days of monthly reconciliation.

    Broker back office

A specialist broker had outgrown its CRM. Instead of paying for the next licence tier, we built a custom back-office platform covering pipeline, quote generation, document assembly, and commission tracking, integrated with the broker's existing accounting and email tools.

Vignettes are anonymised composites drawn from engagements and product work. No client names, logos, or performance figures are implied.

    Frequently asked questions

Do you build on a specific stack?

We default to TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL on the cloud your business already uses, but the stack is a decision, not a religion. If .NET, Java, or Python fits better, we say so.

    Will we own the code?

Yes. All source, infrastructure-as-code, and documentation is delivered into your repositories and cloud accounts. There is no runtime lock-in to us.

Do you take over existing projects?

Often. We inherit part-built systems, audit them honestly, and either continue delivery or advise you on the cost of continuing versus restarting.

    How do you price?

Small pieces fixed-price, larger builds time-and-materials with a written cap and weekly burn reports. No open-ended engagements.

    What about ongoing support?

Optional. Some clients keep us on for evolution work; others take the codebase to an internal team on day one. Both are supported by the way we build and document.

Tell us where the spreadsheets are.

Where the process depends on a spreadsheet, there's usually enterprise software worth building. Let's find out if yours is one of them.
